Praying With a Purpose

A guide to transforming your prayer life through intentional, kingdom-minded prayer.

Book Synopsis

Every Christian desires a healthy prayer life, but few people develop a close relationship with God. Most of us experience prayer as a one-sided conversation, so we run out of things to say faster than our Keurig can brew a single cup!

Our efforts to care for people flood our prayers with requests for help with physical, financial, and crisis problems. We have conditioned ourselves to care for people so strongly that we forgot to be kingdom minded in our prayers. What’s more, we don’t even know how.

Praying With a Purpose was born out of a desire for a more meaningful prayer time. It was written to help believers develop the content of their prayers and promises to enrich their prayer time.

You’ll discover:

  • 7 prayer themes; each one with Scriptural examples.
  • A daily guide to structure your prayer time along with questions at the conclusion of each chapter to apply these themes to your personal faith journey. These questions would also be effective in a group setting.
  • How our prayers change our hearts.
  • How to pray with the heart of God.
  • How our prayers, or the lack of, affect our relationship with God.

Praying With a Purpose begins as one man’s desire for more intentional, kingdom-minded, purposeful prayers. It finishes as a guide that will change your prayers. This book will shape your faith journey.
